Resin Bound Driveway New Malden
The driveway of Mehmed’s house in New Malden was severely overgrown and he desired to expand his driveway to accommodate vehicles for his growing business. He gave us a call to see if we could help with this monumental task.
Mehmed’s block paved driveway was full of weeds and access to the side gate of his house was hindered by years of unchecked plant growth. The driveway needed an entire overhaul, and he wanted to remove the old brick walls from the front of his property as to allow his vehicles ease of access. He got in touch with us, and after speaking with Joseph during the free consultation and estimation he was committed to a new resin bound driveway.
The task was a big one, first the removal of the many plants in and around the driveway, as well as a raised bed which the driveway would expand into. The block paving and brick wall were then dug up and dismantled, with much earth and brick being hauled away.
Access to the side gate was improved, and we installed a new close boarded timber fence to replace the removed vegetation. With the ground prepared, brick bordering was put in place, then once the hardcore foundation had been levelled and prepared we laid down tarmac and later resin bound gravel.
Mehmed’s drive had been totally transformed. Where once it was sheltered and overgrown it is now wide open with excellent access for many vehicles.
