Gary recently moved into a modern semi detached home in Sutton, and whilst he loves his new home the garden leaves much to be desired.
Although the garden has some positives, such as the garden room at the far end, the neglect was obvious by the numerous overgrown shrubs and tired patchy lawn. Gary invited over a number of landscapers to receive estimates on the work that could be done, but he was most impressed by our teams knowledge and experience in dealing with the various jobs required to fully transform his garden.
We discussed details at length and plans were drawn up for a simple yet stylish garden that would suit the modern aesthetic of his home. A porcelain patio would be laid over about a third of the garden, large enough to host outdoor parties and barbecues.
Most of the shrubs and trees would be removed, but with a select few remaining in the newly made beds on either side of the lawn. A pathway made from clay pavers would snake between the beds and the newly turfed lawn, connecting the house to the garden room, where another porcelain patio would be laid.
Work began with extensive clearance of the old vegetation, and afterwards the earth was dug up so that the ground could be levelled in preparation for the pathways, patios, new lawn and planting beds. Once the patios, drainage and clay paver edging were in place the connecting path could be laid and finally new turf rolled out to complete the garden.
Gary now has a brand new, spacious and accessible modern garden to match his new modern home.
