Resin Driveway & Walls in Croydon

Vineet lives in a detached house in the London Borough of Croydon. His narrow front drive and garden needed a complete overhaul, so he contacted us to discuss a new resin driveway and walls.

The outside space to the front of the house had not been altered very much since the house was built in the mid-20th century and, as Vineet explained to us in our consultation meeting, was not serving him as well as it could. The paved driveway was cracked, and weeds were becoming a problem, as well as it being quite narrow. The garden area had been built behind a stone wall and needed regular maintenance, which was becoming a burden.

We explained that the whole of the front of the house could be levelled and finished with a smart, low maintenance material, allowing for several cars and ensuring the front of the house always looked tidy. We agreed on a grey resin driveway and red brick walls.

We began by completely clearing the old driveway, old stone walls, steps and front garden. Our first job was then to build new retaining walls alongside the adjacent houses, before levelling the whole area, ready for the driveway materials. We then laid hardcore and a sub-base, before adding the resin driveway bordered with contrasting dark grey block paving.

Vineet is very happy with his new outside space – the smart resin driveway and walls in Croydon make the house look so much bigger and allows room to easily park several cars.
