Porcelain Patio and Landscaping, Sutton, Surrey
Sanjit had recently bought a new home for his family in Sutton, Surrey. The house was lovely, but the garden had been neglected for years and was in need of a complete landscaping makeover.
Their first concern was the lack of privacy, since the old fences were virtually non-existent. At the initial site meeting, they decided on new close boarded fencing all around, a porcelain patio outside the kitchen extension and planting beds up both sides of the garden. Since their children are young, they close super low-maintenance artificial grass for the main lawn.
There was a nice tree at the end of the garden which they wanted to keep, so we added a section of gravel around it to keep down weeds in future. The back corner of the garden behind the tree was also laid in porcelain patio slabs to mirror the step in the main patio. To separate the lawn from the patio and planter beds, we suggested engineered bricks laid sideways in two courses.
Once everything was agreed, we began the work. First, we put up the new fencing, then levelled the entire garden area and laid hardcore for the porcelain patio areas. After damping down the hardcore to ensure a good foundation, we laid the porcelain pavers with the integrated drain cover, separated the transitions with engineering bricks and put in fresh topsoil for the planting beds. Finally we laid the artificial grass to really finish of the landscaping project.
Sanjit and his family are delighted with their new, low maintenance garden, and can hardly believe the difference two weeks work can make.

“When we bought the house in Sutton, the garden was a mess – no fences, patchy ground and crumbling edging on the borders. Joseph and his team have transformed it into a beautiful, secluded, low-maintenance garden. They were a pleasure to work with and nothing was too much trouble.”
