Block Paved Driveway, Wimbledon Village

Conrad lives in Wimbledon Village, South London, SW19. He wanted to upgrade his old cement drive and front garden to a smart block paved driveway, so gave us a call.

Conrad’s front garden and driveway is large but was not doing justice to the facade of his Wimbledon Village home. A worn cement path and driveway with patchy grass needed an upgrade. We suggested a block paved driveway that could be designed to incorporate new borders with curved edges to soften the overall look.

We settled on a colour scheme in soft grey shades to break up the large area and avoid an overly uniform finish. Our first job was to break up and remove the existing old cement driveway and dig out the old grass and plants. Once clear, we levelled the entire site and laid the foundations to the driveway area. We then lay the block paving over the whole area, including a border round the perimeter and the newly created planting beds.

Conrad is delighted with his new block paved driveway and feels it elevates the whole look of his home.
