Block Driveway in Wimbledon Village

David and his family live in Wimbledon Village, in the London Borough of Merton. Keen to give their outside space an upgrade, he called us to discuss a new block driveway.

During our initial consultation meeting, we examined the substantial area to the front of this large, detached home. The existing pavers were serviceable but looked a little tired when compared to the rest of the house and garden. We suggested a variety of different block driveway finishes and designs, before our clients settled on the sleek, dark grey finish of Tegula blocks.

With the design finalised, we agreed a time to begin work. The whole project would take about a week, so we scheduled the project for when the work would be minimally disruptive to the household.

Our first job was to lift the existing block driveway and remove all the materials from the site. We then levelled the site and laid the sub-base, before installing and finishing the new block driveway.

David and his family are very happy with their smart new block driveway in Wimbledon Village, especially as it has really elevated the look of their home.
