Mr and Mrs Drake live in Epsom, Surrey. They wanted to replace their old cement driveway with a smart block driveway that enhanced their well-maintained front garden, so they contacted us.

During our initial consultation with Mr and Mrs Drake, we discussed different driveway options for their home. Their existing concrete driveway was functional but was a little worn with weeds coming up between the cracks. The rest of the front of the house was laid to lawn with mature plants, and they were keen to preserve this planting – as well as the neighbours’ shrubs that were planted right up to the driveway boundary.

The Drakes settled on a block driveway, with most of the pavers matching the brick of their Surrey home, and we agreed on a darker border round the edge to add interest. Our first job was to carefully remove the existing concrete driveway and take the unwanted materials offsite. We then ensured the ground was level before installing a sub base to withstand driveway usage. Finally, we installed the block paving to match the agreed design.

The Drakes are very happy with their smart new block driveway in Epsom, Surrey, and agree that it sets off their home perfectly, blending well with the established lawn and mature shrubs.
